Film Project - Lucky Larry

In a bidding war, Corner of the Sky just acquired the feature film rights to develop a feature film based on the notorious life of Lucky Larry Panaro who scammed friends on the streets of Buffalo to Las Vegas with an uncanny charm and ability to win big. Larry bet on everything until his luck ran out and he found himself having to try to anything, even laundering money, to pay off what soon became a mountain of gambling debts.

Problem was, the Feds gave him the money to get to his older brother, a reputed organized crime leader, whom they were really after but weren't sure why. What the Feds didnt count on was Larry taking them down with the very same lady luck that he thought had evaporated and left him for good.

Instead of laundering the money and helping the Feds make a drug deal, for which he was both arrested and indicted, Larry became the first reported wiseguy to sue the Government and win. All this, without ever finking on his big brother, who finally welcomed him back into the family after realizing that, unlike Freddo in the Godfather, "Lucky Larry" was set up, didn't ask for any part of it, especially the drugs, and never ratted on his friends and family.

Look for this hysterical comedy in the vein of "Catch Me If You Can" and "Oceans Eleven" written by Bobby Panaro and Produced by Dave Phillips, JP Hoffman, and Mike Carter, on the big screen!
